Terms of Service

By accessing or using Zaar ("Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Pakistan to use Zaar. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to verify identity and terminate accounts that do not comply.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Zaar is not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized access due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.

Zaar reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise harm the platform or its users.

When you place a bid or complete a Buy It Now purchase, you enter into a binding agreement to purchase the item at that price. Bids cannot be retracted once placed. Failure to complete a valid transaction may result in account suspension.

Funds are deducted from your Zaar wallet at the time of purchase. You must maintain sufficient wallet balance to participate in auctions. Top-ups are subject to verification requirements.

Sellers must be approved by Zaar before listing products. By listing an item, you represent that you have the legal right to sell it, that the item matches its description, and that you will ship it promptly after a sale is confirmed.

Zaar charges a platform commission on each completed sale. Funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed, then released to your seller wallet after the applicable commission is deducted.

Sellers are prohibited from listing counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, or illegal items. Violation will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.

The following categories of items may not be listed on Zaar:

• Counterfeit or replica goods
• Stolen property
• Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
• Narcotics or controlled substances
• Adult or explicit content
• Items that violate intellectual property rights
• Any item prohibited under Pakistani law

Zaar wallets are non-transferable and may only be used on the platform. Wallet balances do not earn interest. Zaar is not a bank and your wallet balance is not insured by any government scheme.

Refunds are issued to your Zaar wallet, not to external payment methods. Withdrawal to external accounts is available to approved sellers only via the payout system.

Zaar provides a dispute resolution system for buyers and sellers. We act as a neutral mediator and our decisions are final. We reserve the right to issue refunds, release or withhold funds, or take other actions we deem appropriate to resolve disputes fairly.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Manipulate auction prices through shill bidding or coordinated activity
• Circumvent any platform fees or restrictions
• Introduce malware or attempt to compromise platform security
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content without permission

All content on Zaar, including logos, design, code, and text, is the property of Zaar or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

By uploading product images or other content to Zaar, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content to operate and promote the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zaar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Zaar in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-platform notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
